My Story

My passion is leading teams to create breakthrough products and services that transform the way we live. I have been fortunate to have had an action-packed career thus far, learning from incredible people and getting the opportunity to create meaningful innovations on some of the the world's largest stages.

 
 

  • From bootstrapping startups in college to building a VC-backed health insurance company, I’m naturally wired as a builder.

  • Having now worked with 4 of the Fortune 25, the challenge with enterprise innovation isn’t coming up with ideas, it’s getting people to think in new ways and get comfortable with working differently.

  • I believe the secret to making the impossible, possible, is all about building the right team. I love to roll up my sleeves, lead by example, and help people achieve exponential growth.

  • Co-created a new offering with Google Cloud's Professional Services Organization to drive innovation at General Motors.

    2021 -> Present

  • Built Nerdery's Innovation Studio from the ground up to serve Fortune 100 clients.

    2020 -> Present

  • Led the innovation team that helped land the largest deal in Google Cloud history, with the Ford Motor Company.

  • Joined Nerdery, as Director of Innovation, to help build out its strategy practice.

  • Led the experience design for consumer sales as a VP and founding member of Bright Health($20b IPO).

    2015 -> 2017

  • Helped launch the first Lean Startup group at UnitedHealth Group as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence.

  • Went to law school at the University of Minnesota and found my niche with innovation in highly regulated industries.
